how to
- Ground the cumin, mustard seeds and black peppercorns.
- Dice onions and chili peppers. Chop ginger and press garlic.
- Add the aromatics to a pan with a drizzle of oil. Saute until they get some color.
- Add the grounded spices to a pan and toast for 30 seconds.
- Add in the grounded tomatoes, along with the remaining spices (cloves, bay leaves, ground chili, turmeric). Let boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef. Let simmer until cooked.
- Add in the frozen peas and juice from half a lemon.
